The Knox County Farm Bureau Women’s Group gives farm women a voice in Farm Bureau’s community outreach and agricultural advocacy — part of the statewide Tennessee Farm Bureau Women’s Leadership program.
“Our main focus is for us to go out and give back to the community and bring awareness to agriculture,” says the group’s longtime chair. The Knox County group traces back to the 1940s and remains one of the most active county women’s committees in the state.
Meetings
The group meets the second Thursday of each month at the Western Avenue Farm Bureau office — a meal at 6:00 PM, followed by the meeting from 7:00 to 8:30 PM. New members and visitors are always welcome.
